About the exhibition
Being the largest industry event on the aerospace calendar in 2016, the Farnborough International Air show was also a major opportunity to showcase new aircraft. Farnborough International Air show attracted over 1500 exhibitors covering 80,000sqm of exhibitions space and 70,000 visitors.
Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace had a business chalet at the show, and NPG delivered the chalet, the stand concept, terrace and furniture. The chalet was located opposite the flight path, which provided excellent views of the flying display. Consequently, we built a terrace with outdoor furniture for the visitors to enjoy the show.
We also organized the catering, and we served up to 60 guests per day. Celebrity chefs from Kjell Tore Mat and owners of the restaurant Stock at the Barcode, Kjell Arne Johnsæter, Kjell Robin Johnsen and Tom Magnussen, delivered culinary dishes as well as a waffle breakfast with a twist every morning.
NPG was also responsible for delivering the Norwegian pavilion for FSi. The FSi is an organisation who advocates the interests of the Norwegian Defence and Security Industries.
The pavilion provides the ideal space for a range of large-scale events, and companies represented were Nammo, Aim, NSM, Bergetand and Galleon.
