Trond Killingstad becomes advisor at NPG Sport & Communication
One of the media industry's most experienced heavyweights steps into the role of advisor at the fast-growing sports agency NPG Sports & Communication, to build partnerships and sponsorship agreements between business and sport. He is also bringing his commercial expertise and previous role from the e-sports and gaming company Good game to NPG, which will now take over responsibility for Good Game’s sponsorship agreements. Killingstad played a key role in developing commercial radio in Norway, serving as Sales Director at P4 for 25 years.

We are proud to strengthen our team with someone many consider Norway’s top sales expert and sales leader. Trond knows everyone in the media industry, business sector, and much of the sports world in Norway, making him a truly unique asset for us.
Very few can match Trond’s level of experience and achievements, and with sponsorships now surpassing the TV advertising market, there is no shortage of opportunities to seize. That’s why we need a powerhouse like Trond.
Strengthening the E-Sports initiative in Good Game
Trond Killingstad has already started his new job, and is looking forward to new challenges in a larger environment, while the e-sports initiative will also be strengthened through the new organization.
– This is a company and a challenge that is tailored to my interests and my experience, says Killingstad. – I have been a significant sponsor of Norwegian sports for many years through P4, and am passionate about creating good partnerships that benefit all parties. In that case, it is not enough to just make a sale, but to build value through good activation and close collaboration over time. At the same time, I am including the e-sports initiative in Good game into a larger professional environment. This will be a win-win, says Killingstad.
Managing Director Erlend Blakstad of Good Game believes this will be a good solution for all parties.
– We get a larger team involved in gaming and e-sports, Trond gets to utilize his capacity better in a broader field, and we also save money, so this will be very good, says Blakstad.
It is part of history that Harald Strømme, who is a partner in NPG Sports & Communication, is also the founder and largest shareholder in Good Game. Strømme and Killingstad have worked for and with each other for a number of years in various contexts, and are now reunited in the sports agency.
