About the project
Ski World Cup was held in Trondheim in 2025, and provided a reminder of
what the term folk festival means. 220 tickets were sold, and
Almost the same number showed up around the trail out in the field.
The company Ski-VM Trondheim AS was responsible for planning and
implementation of the championship.
Our role
NPG Sports & Communication assisted the World Cup organization with
strategic and operational communication work. The NPG team prepared the communication strategy for the championship, and assisted with implementation. Also collaborated on work with commercial agreements.
The Result
The World Cup company met its budget targets for sponsorship sales and sold out all tickets for all days. These were the two main goals that the communication was supposed to help achieve.
We have connected key people in NPG Sport & Communication to help us with operational and strategic communication work and advice on commercial agreements.
These are people who have worked as journalists, media managers and advisors with virtually all major sporting events, and who have extensive experience with this type of work.
