About the project

«The Final Bell»: The World Championship match that crowned a fantastic career for Cecilia Brækhus. The boxing legend ended her career by taking two World Championship belts on Norwegian soil in Nova Spektrum, and received her well-deserved tribute as a pioneer and trailblazer in Norwegian martial arts.

Our role

NPG Sports & Communication worked actively to create media coverage and attention around the match and the end of Brækhus' career. In addition, our people contributed with content production and management of social channels during the period.

The work resulted in broad media coverage nationally and internationally, including profile interviews in the BBC and CNN. It also generated significant engagement on social channels in the build-up to the match and a solid number of tickets sold.
