Our new Unreal Engine 5 developer?
Do you have a burning desire to implement gamification with Unreal Engine 5 to create tomorrow’s Virtual experiences?
NPG Interactive is looking for someone with a broad knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 that can help us create experiences that captures our customers imagination. Our projects are often displayed at exhibitions around the world with VR, AR or touch displays. Our goal is to create experiences that combines the physical and digital world and take it to the next level.
To achieve this, we offer a position where research & development is one of the cornerstones and you will be able to use a lot of time to create things that you think will be the next creative solution for our customers. This will offer you an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and grow as a developer.
Our goal is to give our customers innovative experiences that they did not think was possible. The work takes place in close dialogue with 3D designers, developers, videographers and other creative employees.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibility for development and delivery for our largest customers around the world by working within one or more of the following fields:
• C++ programming
• Replication and multiplayer programming
• Asynchronous code execution
• Unreal Engine framework and subsystems
• Modular systems using plugins and modules
• Creating tools for our designers
• Idea and concept development, planning, and implementation of projects
• Blueprint Scripting
What are we looking for?
• You love to work cross disciplinary, learn new skills during a project and have a speciality within one or more of the fields listed above. Ideally a generalist, but we also encourage specialists to apply.
• Good communication skills in English or Norwegian/Swedish
• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge/experience developing using the Model, View, Controller software design pattern.
• 2+ years of professional experience Unreal Engine 4/5 experience
• A strong ability to execute and can have worked on projects that has been released on Steam, app store or are used live in any other way.
• VR/AR or console development is a plus.
