Project Manager / Producer
NPG Interactive is a multidisciplinary team of eight creative and professionally strong developers, 3D artists and project managers. Together they create engaging sales tools and simulators for some of Norway's largest companies. We combine the power of Unreal Engine with expertise from the gaming industry to create digital experiences that engage.
We make complex products and systems easier to experience through interactive, digital experiences. Together with our customers, we develop everything from touchscreen and tablet solutions to VR simulators.
About the role
In the role of project manager, you must handle several small and large complex projects at the same time. You are responsible for quality, progress and finances, and will also act as an advisor to customers. You are responsible for good communication across internal professional environments, suppliers and customers.
Areas of responsibility
- Plan and follow up projects from start-up to evaluation.
- Through clear and orderly processes, be the link between the customer and the team.
- Work with work methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.), run sprints, dailies and assign tasks to the team.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration internally and externally, and ensure that all links are taken care of in a good way.
- Building strong relationships with our customers.
- Manage scope and change requests, and clearly state when something falls outside the scope.
- Follow up on hours, progress and project finances, and create offers and contracts.
Qualifications
- High execution ability, both independently and in a team.
- Experience in managing projects from start to finish, including budget and upselling.
- Solid experience with customer follow-up and collaboration with external partners.
- Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate with different target groups.
- Technical understanding of the platforms we work with, and ability to play the disciplines well.
- Good written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Unity or similar tools is an advantage.
- Experience from the gaming industry/software/IT/consulting industry or agency is a plus.
