About the project

Brand strategy and new website for Seram Coatings

Seram Coatings has developed an advanced coating technology with great potential in international industrial markets. To support further growth, the company needed a clearer brand and a website that made it easier to understand what the technology solves, who it is relevant to and why it stands out.

The starting point was both technically and commercially demanding. ThermaSiC®, the company's coating technology, can contribute to better wear resistance, longer service life and more efficient industrial processes. At the same time, the value had to be communicated in a way that reached different target groups – from technical decision-makers and industrial customers to partners, investors and new market segments.

NPG Marketing was connected to develop a clearer strategic direction, a new visual identity and a digital platform that could bring together the brand, communication and sales work into a more holistic expression.

Our role

The project started with a branding workshop where we, together with Seram Coatings, mapped the company's position, target groups, competitive advantages and most important messages. The goal was to establish a clear foundation for how the company would appear in the market – both strategically, visually and digitally.

Based on the insights, we developed a brand strategy with positioning, message platform, tone of voice and recommended visual direction. The strategy laid the foundation for the rebranding and helped make communication more focused, understandable and relevant to the target groups.

We also developed a new visual identity with a logo, color palette, typography and graphic elements. The expression would reflect Seram Coatings' technological expertise, industrial relevance and ambition for growth, while giving the brand a more professional and recognizable feel.

NPG Marketing also designed and developed the new website. The goal was to make a complex technological message easier to understand, highlight applications and value for various industries, and provide Seram Coatings with a digital platform that supports both visibility, trust and sales efforts.

The Result

Seram Coatings is left with a clearer and more holistic brand that makes it easier to communicate the value of ThermaSiC® to both existing and new target groups.

The new brand platform gives the company a stronger strategic foundation for further growth, while the website makes the technology more accessible, relevant and understandable to the market. It more clearly shows which challenges ThermaSiC® solves, which industries the technology is relevant to, and how Seram Coatings can create value for customers and partners.

The project shows how strategic brand development can help make advanced technology more commercially visible – and how a good digital platform can support both positioning, marketing and sales.
