About the project
Routes Europe is the year's most important meeting place for airlines, airports and destinations working on developing Europe's air route network. Avinor, as host, wanted to create a memorable experience for the 1200 participants who met in Bergen on 18–20 May.
The event included over 4000 meetings, an exhibition with 60 exhibitors, conferences with 20 speakers and various VIP tours.
NPG, with an 8-year agreement with Avinor, has a close collaboration and continuously delivers projects for them nationally and internationally.
Our role
On behalf of Avinor contributed NPG Event with consultancy, project management and coordination of all activities for Routes Europe. We delivered solutions that made the event seamless and welcoming for participants, including PCO services, exhibition organisation and networking area setup.
The networking festival was held at Bergen's Verftet cultural center, where we created an unforgettable atmosphere with food experiences, DJs, live music, a gin bar and jazz lounge.
Our services ensured that Avinor could focus on hosting, while we handled the details.
The Result
Routes Europe was a success that put Norway, Western Norway and Bergen on the aviation map. The event provided participants with unique networking opportunities, industry insight and a strong experience of Norwegian culture.
